Salih

Salih who is Co-founder of ABA, started his barbering journey by attending Total Barber Academy in London. He already had a barbershop (Brothers & Scissors) up and running before he started his own training so went straight into working there on completion of his training.

From the moment he finished his Barber training course, his mind was focused on one day opening his very own barber Academy.

So after 6 years of honing his new skill set, he purchased another shop which he named ‘The Cutting Room’, where he had planned to start the Academy in the back of the large property while still having a running barber shop in the front.

While planning on renovations of the new shop, he met his future partner & Co-Founder of ABA. With the intention of mixing the North American and British cutting styles, Atlantic Barber Academy was born and opened in 2017.

Yilli who is co-founder of ABA, started his barbering journey in Toronto Canada in 2007 where he attended Marvel Barber Academy, and shortly went on to opening his own barber shop in the center of Toronto.

After 5 years, he decided he wanted to take his skill set somewhere that would single out his unique north American cutting methods, so he moved to Cyprus where he opened ‘Little Toronto’.

4 years passed, and Yilli felt like he needed a new challenge, so made another drastic move to the UK, where he met his now business partner, and co- founder of ABA.

Courses

NVQ level 2

Suitability: There are no entry requirements

Content: Clipper work, fading, scissor work, razor shape ups, beard grooming & styling, wet shaving, afro hair. You will also have learning textbooks and videos to supplement your academy training.

Format: Educator demos combined with our hands-on, practical barbershop approach that provides you with an abundance of clients for cutting practice.

Goals: Get trained to a standard in which you can work immediately in a shop upon graduation, plus a level 2 NVQ Diploma in Barbering.

Location: Rainham, Kent.

Duration: 9 Weeks Full Time.

Price: £3,500
